Finally found TDC. It is hard to find when #1 has no compression!
Took the valve cover off and the second arm on #1 was off the spring and the spring was stuck down. I was lucky and it popped up with a screwdriver, and wow compression. Put it all together, and it started like a new super A. Took it for a 5 mile ride. Minor oil leaks, but ran great.

Thanks for all your help. It was and is fun.

Oh I almost forgot, When it was not timmed right it backfired once hard enough to blow the flapper off the top of the muffler. That was a shorts changer!!!!!!!!! :shock:

Without compression on #1, find TDC on #4 and make one more revolution. :D
