I can't plan tonight, much less tomorrow, but I plan on being there. Not too sure about bringing a Cub or two as I got tired of looking at the trailer and dragged it back up north. Doesn't fit behind the truck with the camper on it too well anyway.
I AM planning on being there for the weekend.

9 weeks and counting!
CTdave: Registration, name tags (Cecil has a neat graphic for these, contact him), & a 59 Cub that needs work.
Cecil (53 Cub): Pit Crew Chief
ArtieT: Do we have a project?
Stick: Could you handle a Saturday "community breakfast"?
spaceghost: Could you handle a Saturday "community dinner"?
Buzzard Wing: ConnectiCubFest photographer & CubFest Photo Host poster?
artc: Gas Tank Lip reforming tool & Zagray Farm logistics coordinator.
Blackjeep: Pit Crew Chief
junkman1946, ScottyD'sdad, & others: Door Prizes?
As is common at CubFests, there will be a donation bucket to offset the costs incurred by those who provide the community meals & other shared benefits.
Don't forget the $20 QVEA Membership requirement for us to use our tractors on the farm, i.e. plowing, mowing, digging, etc.
Cecil & John (Blackjeep)-ArtieT is working on an idea for the weekend and I'm waiting to hear back from him. I'll fill you in once he gets back to me.
Anybody else with anything they would like to offer, let me know.
Thanks,
Peter

This sounds better and better as I read here. I'll be there either way with or without my cub. (My new 10k trailer isn't inspected/registered yet, i have a hydraulic powered ramp to fab yet on the rear.)
I also want to thank the guys on this forum for my new gas cap. Thats awesome something for free for our cubs...plus its all about being safe too..the free gas cap is up this may 07 so get it now or pay for it after may 07.

I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.

spaceghost,
I was thinking more along the lines of the evening meal.
The count would be based on folks signing up beforehand for this meal and the Saturday breakfast. Drinks? We'll discuss.
Cecil & John (blackjeep); I'm waiting to hear back from ArtieT on a very unique idea that he put forth.
Ed, door prizes could be anything Cub related.

there will be food available for lunch - regular fair vendors. hamburgs, hotdogs, sausage and peppers(recommended), perhaps fried dough if the Lions come again, and ice cream cones and sundaes.
there will be coffee, donuts, orange juice, and various egg sandwiches in the morning, but your welcome to organize whatever you might like.

A little more info concerning costs/fees/admission from artc;
"Since exhibitors make the show, there is no charge for admission or camping at any of our shows.
non-exibitors that would like to camp, a donation would be appropriate since they would not be passing through the gate in the morning where we are collecting.
Our insurance carrier only covers members of QVEA, hense the requirement for membership ($20) to operate equipment on the farm.
Water is available to fill fresh water tanks near the entrance at our food trailer. so you don't need to haul water with you. no dumping station, yet."
Also, the thinking behind having a "community" breakfast & dinner on Saturday is to encourage forum members to be together in a larger group to get to know one another better.
Let's keep the plans moving.
Peter

Looks like I may be bringing a Cub after all.... possibly two if I can figure out how to tie em down.
I really would prefer to stay there, but the last time I stayed in a tent was on the way to pick up Rufus.... forgot to bring an air mattress. TN has some hard ground, so does West Va. But it was August.
