itllbejohn???

Postby itllbejohn » Wed Feb 28, 2007 12:21 am

Hello everyone, I'm John and my wife is Sandy. we bought our first cub, Ruby, from a fellow arizona cub enthusiast, Tom. Ruby was a practical purchase, as we have a 5.5 acre spot in the Gila Wilderness of New Mexico. I've dreamed of having a place in the country since I was 16 amd Sandy has confessed that she feels as though she should have been born in the frontier days. Fate must have a sense of humor, as I am a network analyst for a national brokerage firm, and Sandy is a word processor at a company that makes rockets! So we get away (when we can) to our place in the mountains. We named it "It'llbe Ranch" because it'll be a lot of work, but it'llbe so much fun... and hence my handle "itllbejohn". In case anybody is curious what my 5.5 acres of indian ricegrass looks like, here's It'llbe...

Welcome to the forum. I understand about wanting to get away. My wife and I both came form farms, and we did live in town for a couple year (250 population), but weren't happy there. If it weren't for our being out in the country i would never have survived working for as many years as I did.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

John and Sandy:

Well, you already have the Welcome Wagon spiel, so let me just say this.. Wow, what a beautiful spread. The view, the colours are spectacular... you are terribly fortunate. I hope that you both get to enjoy this itllberanch in time and that you get to not only relax, but enjoy and prosper from the riches of the land. And the land does look rich and fertile.

You have been blessed.. :!:
