Usernames

First, Thanks to all who welcomed me aboard. Second, I notice quite the varied "Usernames" on the forum. With that in mind I thought I'll use the same as on my personallized liscence plate, "SQZ-BOX". Just to explain, it's what concertinas are most often called. My Dad played one all his life (died at 75) and he taught me how to play one when I was about 15.

For many years he had "SQZ-BOX" as his personalized plate. After he died it took 2 and 1/2 years for it to expire and become public domain. That's when I applied for it, for obvious reasons.

And now you know the rest of the story!

Oh, Em told me today to listen to messages.. heard it.. thanks for the kind words.. they are appreciated.

Rudi,

Actually the plates weren't due to expire untill 6mos after Dad died. Then after they expire they can't be had for 2 yrs by the public because someone in the family might want them. In my case I have 5 sisters, and Ma thought it best who ever applies for them first 2yrs down the road, be it one of us or the public, would eliminate any fueding. I marked my calendar.

I don't know about the song's author.
