i need 500 16"x16"x4" solid concrete blocks. preferable used. where do i begin to look?

Silo. The type made of individual concrete blocks. We tore down a silo years ago. Use the individual blocks for shop floor flooring and sidewalks.

Local cement plant makes big concrete blocks out of excess cement - used as rip-rap. Perhaps you could talk to them.

furyIII what are you trying to do with those blocks? i would look in the paper for demolition notices. i am trying to get permission to access a job site where an old brick building is being torn down. cheaper than pavers i say! :lol: sometimes you can call around to concrete recyling plants, and they always have old sidewalks piled up for people to take home.

im putting a floor down in my barn with them. ive already used the 100 or so i had. was going along rather well until i used them up.

i simply cant afford $3000 for concrete.

good luck on used bricks, those things are like gold. citys condem old buildings made with brick and leave worse ones standing, so they can sell the brick to construction, reuse companies.
