FORD INFORMATION

Postby staninlowerAL » Tue Aug 23, 2016 10:02 pm

Need any information on a FORD SN 9N200860. What I have seen so far leads me to believe it is a 2N, probably made in early 1946 after the resumption of regular tractor production after WW2. Probably sold by Ferguson and made before the Ford/Ferguson breakup in 1947 and prior to the introduction of the FORD 8N. Any comments appreciated. Stan

Thanks for the info. Here's what it looks like: trip loader, Fergerson rear blade, new 6v battery, decent rubber and chains set up for snow removal. Yeah, I know it doesn't snow that much in South Alabama :P the tractor is in Montana. My brother got it in an estate sale, $600. I told him he could get most of that back by selling the loader and blade. I think he plans to work the loader some.
