Yea, at first I couldn't figure out why anyone would invest that kind of money into something to mow ditches. Then, later in the video they pan around and you can see there's literally miles of ditches. Must be somewhere in Europe because nobody here in the US would ever be that patient or spend that kind of money just to mow ditches. They'd just let them grow in and send a ditching crew around every few years to dig them out.

If you go to the You Tube site the comments and description appear to be Dutch, plus there is a caption at the beginning that reads Kruisland (NLB), which I also think might put it in Holland.

Hack is an ag services company. Kruisland has an elevation of about 1 meter. I imagine they take their drainage ditches pretty seriously. Probably be under water in another 10 years or so anyway.

This link is to a tourism site, but covers some water control information. If you look at the first map on the left, follow straight north from the "s" of the first word "sealevel". This town is roughly 2/3 of the way across the narrow green strip. Note that puts it within the blue "flood prone" area of the second map. I don't think it is an area that was reclaimed by dikes and pumping. It probably is an area protected by flood control structures (possibly similar to the way areas along rivers in this country are protected by levees).

I had to dig a little more. Here is another map. Kruisland is just to the north and a bit west of Roosendaal. It may have been part of the earliest reclaimed land. If not, it was once on the coast.
