this was my Grandpa's tractor he used for many years. it's been setting at the old framplace which now belongs to an Aunt. One of the other Grandsons had said he wanted it, but he has left it setting for over a year without doing anything with it. my Aunt says it's now mine. Been setting outside for probably 40 years, and last ran aobut 20 years ago so far as I know. Probably will never run again, but will be a nice lawn ornament with a little paint. Has front blade, and rear lift and plow. P.S. that's poison ivy groeing up through it. I'll drag iot onto the trialer with a winch, and it will get a good going over with the poer washer before i try to do anything with it.

It is a very early model Gibson, and so far as I know the tires and wheels re original size, but rims, and possibly disks will need replaced ot get it to roll. the H with loader in the background was one of 2 my Uncle Harry owned. Family is discussing selling it, along with another one, and getting a more "useful", which I interpret as modern, tractor.

Will when I get it home and the poison ivy off it. Right now it's so dry i don't wnat to drive my truck and trailer across Aunt Mary's lawn because it will crumble the grass right down to the roots. A lot of the time it doesn't come back after that for quite a while. Probably pic it up when I get back from Red Power. I'd hate to be in TN. in July covered with Poison Ivy. Gives me goose bumps thinking aobut it.

Been thinking aobut that.johnbron wrote:Spray that P_IVY with weed killer and you wont have to worry about it at pick-up time.
I think the angle of the picture is decieving, the rear tires are only aobut 2/3 as tall as a cub.Paul B wrote:John
With a steering wheel, I believe that would be a later Gibson like a "D" or Super D with out the hood. The early Gibsons used a push-pull lever for steering, and the early model "A" had 16" rear wheels, 4.00-12 fronts. Later ones had 24" rears I believe.
