Hi T,
I have used this type of machine many times for cutting my peat for the fuel for my whole year, before that for many years the turf was cut by hand spade. 1 hour with the machine = 1 full day by hand. I no longer cut turf because my boys have grown up and gone & I am too old for the back - breaking work. I last cut turf with the machine in 1995.
Bernard,
Donegal Cub.
