Weekend Auction

Postby Stanton » Mon Apr 07, 2014 11:49 am

Attended an auction in NW Missouri on Saturday. Beautiful, clear, day which started out at 29 degrees F but warmed up by noon or so to around 58.

Several tractors were up for sale, most of which they had running until it was time to sell them, then they had trouble re-starting several.

1951 Farmall Super C with sickle mower; $800.

I enjoyed the day spent at the auction almost as much as bringing some stuff home. :coffee:

Good thing it was not close to me or I would have bought those Super C's. I have been in the hunt for a nice one with a 2 point. But a tractor would be a start. My cousin and I restored grandpas around 10 yrs ago now and I still want to get the sickle mower put back on it.

Looks like a fun auction to me.

Thanks for sharing
