Very expensive wheels

I bought these wheels at Harbor Freight. Within a week, two of them fell apart. So I went back and got 2 more. All I do with them is give kids rides. Why do they even bother to manufacture this junk, ship it half way around the world, and sell it? I guess the answer to that question is people like me, who are stupid enough to buy it.

Looks as though the factory didn't have their welder set, adjusted, correctly. Most of the weld is on the axle housing and did not penetrate the rim half.

I would separate the two rim halves, punch out the bearings, then weld the axle housing to the rim half.

Agree, this shouldn't happen and it looks like poor quality control.

Good eye there, that's exactly the situation, almost no weld on the rim half. At least they're easy to take apart.

I just don't like seeing the sad faces when the ride has to stop !

The next time you go to Harbor Freight take them with you, especially if you have a receipt for one set or the other. They are pretty good at taking care of any reasonable problems you have.

I'll do that (although I'll be doing it without a receipt.) Will let you know.

You have the SKU tags so you shouldn't need the receipt.
