New Idea Electric Garden Tractor

Postby Bob McCarty » Thu Nov 14, 2013 7:27 pm

I was looking through a brochure I just received. In 1973, NI introduced an electric. Anybody ever seen one or know anything about them? It says there were 35 attachments/accessories and each had a portable power source for hand tools.

Thanks Eugene, That was a fairly comprehensive article. I don't know how much better batteries are today, but 2 acres of mowing on 25% of battery storage in 1973 sounds pretty good to me.
