Farmall 966 thermostat location

My brother-in-law has a Farmall 966 in need of a thermostat. Where did The Creator put it when he created the 966? Does anyone have a video or how-to on replacing thermostats on a 966? Any help would be appreciated.

It should be right at the bottom of the top rad. hose under that casting,--take out the 2 bolts and pull it off then scrape the gasket really clean and install new one so it dont leak after replacing thermo. ---thats all there is to it! thanks ;sonny

Agree with Sonny. That is the most common location for the thermostat. The thermostat has to be at the top of the engine, between the engine block and radiator.
There is one more place to look for the thermostat - inside the upper radiator hose.
