Charging Rate?

Postby Gene Chestnutt » Thu May 05, 2005 8:31 pm

What is the proper rate of charge for an M in low switch position and in high switch position. At high idle in low position mine is charging about 2 and in high positon 5 to 6.

Sounds about right if your battery is in good shape. You usually see 10 - 12 amps on high charge if the battery needs it. 2 or 3 on low charge is pretty much normal.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.
