Never see one here! We need GPS to find our way, because street signs are overgrown with brush. Ed

Jeff----Not in Indiana , you will put 4 guys out of work on every mowing crew . 2—with weed eaters –1 pickup driver –1 passenger to keep the driver company . Let alone the cost of equipment you will save

Those things look great, but I'll bet the maintenance on them is a bear. The cost of a couple of them is probably more than our entire county road maintenance budget.

Yup, some nice. One of the units around here is somewhat similar -- well not so much -- but is an articulated rotary mower on a boom mounted to an old MF front end loader. Sure would like to have it replaced with this unit. Be nice to have em on the Provincial Dept of Highways crews - sure would make a difference. Be cheaper and faster to get the road sides done instead of all of those farm tractors which aren't really all that efficient or even safe on some of the hills.

That is pretty slick.... my friend's brother sells a line of Swiss hillside 'tractors' that are amazing. Called AEBI and they are used on steep slopes. Awesome stuff, used on dams and ski areas:

Looks like both of them use Alamo flail mowers (they bought Mott).
