OK, I think I have a consenus, and will track down a rim over the next few days, then check out whether I will stick with the same type I have now for a (near-) future purchase, or go with something else. Thanks for the input.

The good news is that I don't have a long distance trip planned till DSCF (assuming I take a tractor), and there is always Christmas and I have 3 sisters!!!!! :D

Dale, bolt pattern and offset of the rim is important, this link should help you narrow things down:

(it also has a link to common applications for reference)

Good luck,

The subject title is a bit confusing. Do you need a spare tire for your trailer or a tire for your spare trailer?
I don't believe in taking the bull by the horns. I took a goat by the horns once and that was enough excitement for me.

You know, Barnyard, everytime I clicked on this post, the title tweaked me! Now I know why!!! My mother, who was an English major and constantly corrected my English, would have cringed!

Of course, either way you read it, I still need a tire! :D

You can buy a new wheel and tire from most any trailer dealer, Look to pay in the $150 and up range.
Or I will sell you a used one for $75 , I would buy a new one
