The Buzz Saw's Back

:D I finally got around to making a blade guard for my buzz saw and another improvement I call the "CLAW". With the CLAW you don't have to get anywhere near the blade. Everything can be done from the left side of the saw. Here's a couple of pictures. I'll bet you can tell George didn't make them! By the way Welcome Back George!

Just getting all the pieces to mine. I had my Grandad's blade and finally got a saw. It looks a lot like yours. Looks like yours has a tilting table?

Brent, looks like quite a job, and a lot safer than the original. but sure would take some of the excitemnet out of using it. did you leave the blade open or enclose it on the back edge. If enclosed chips getting caught there may be a problem.

:D It's enclosed but there's about 3" of clearance between the blade and the top of the guard. So far no problem with chips getting clogged.
Always try the easiest thing first.
