I'm looking for information on this hammer mill. It was made in Wisconsin and the serial no. is 28012. I've been talking on the phone to the guy who has it and he said his father raised worms and used the mill only to grind up card board. He also stated that his father powered the mill with a 14hp wisconsin motor. So, what I'm wondering is, will this mill grind corn and wheat, like for making feed ? Also, will the cub power it ? However, even if the cub won't power it, I do have a 18hp Wisconsin THC I could use. Here's a picture of the mill. Please let me know what y'all know and think.

no, your cub won't power it.
yes your other motor will, however it will be a real slow process.
it looks to be in good shape

Re: Harvey No.49 Hammer Mill
It needs different screens for grinding different materials to a particular size. For grinding things like ear corn it would be a big load for a Farmall H, even controlling the rate of feed flow.
