doing a favor for a friend. her 2000 blazer has developed a wheel bearing noise again. right side was done at dealer for $650, now the left is going bad.
what size is the axle nut 34, 35,or 36 mm? anything special i should watch out for?

Art, I did one of those for a friend too, but his was older. I think I used 1 5/16" socket. Once you get to that size, metric and SAE won't have much difference and will pretty much interchange. As far as what to look out for,, mainly just your fingers!! Lots of tension on them springs! Support the vehicle and control arm carefully. Good luck!
