Way off topic - washing machineAnybody familiar with removing the tub from a washing machine so I can replace a leaking seal? It is a Speed Queen Model AA5421 and as near as I can tell, the seal where the tub mounts to the hub on the transmission shaft has a slow leak. I have located a hub seal kit but I'm not sure where to start dis-assembly.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem. My wife says I don't listen to her. - - - - - - - - Or something like that! http://www.cubtug.com

Hey, Sonny,
How long did it take for this problem to show up? Your Grandmaw's Speed Queens have given at least 20 years of fairly trouble free service. I did replace an internal hose maybe 5 years ago. Built like a Cub! George Willer

I think it's a 1990 model. Not too bad!
