OK. Somebody explain how the guy fixed the differentials to drive the rear wheels of both tractors at the same time.

Without a picture of the rear of the tractor, it's hard to explain. But they state that each "side" of the tractor is powered by it's own engine & transmission. So I assume the rear differentials are'nt tied together at all. He either placed a "Floating" axle between the two hubs, or simply covered up one end of each differential?
