Is that a Gravely with a snowblower attachment mounted to it? Sure looks like one we had when I was a kid.

Was at a tractor show the other day and saw an Allis G Hi-Crop
with a tricycle set-up. I really don't know if the set-up was factory
but SURE looked like it. The tricycle front even had AC cast into
the tower cover. Also saw an Allis G with a plow on it--first plow
on a G that I have seen!!
Sorrry, forgot my camera

Here's one with the plow set up that we saw at our International Plowing Match.

David Brown copied the allis G in the 50's, and made some improvements.

what makes my cub very rare is that it's the only one I've ever owned.

I can't remember the brand name, but there was a company in NW Ark that was making a simplified version for a while, but they got flooded out and never restarted the buisness.

I think the Gs are cool. I'd like to have one, but I've got the Cubs and all the implements already!!

I have a G that I use every now and then. Sheet metal is homemade, but the rest is AC. Rebuilt the engine several years ago. My favorite implement for it is a chain-drive rototiller I fashioned for the tool bar. I use it for CLOSE weed control on my tree nursery. GW---it has all the power that it will stay on the ground with! Image

The Gs were made in an AC facility in Gadsden, Alabama.

Dad's first tractor was a "G". We got it in the early '50s. I remember the Saturday we went to get it. Got up early, had country ham and cantalope for breakfast. Then drove a long ways to purchase it. I was probably 5 or 6 at the time. It was my first driving experience. It had plow and cults. Disc plow I think. We used an old horse drawn disk harrow and 8' drag harrow. (I still have what's left of it.) Dad traded it for 195897 in 1957. My uncle had one with a woods mower on it. He really liked it except for slow road gear speed.
