Can't Get Much More Off Topic Than a Winget Model 42 Diesel

Postby ccaldwelltexas » Tue Aug 08, 2006 6:01 pm

OK, we recently bought a Winget Model 42 Diesel Tractor. They have a nice Lister diesel. The darn thing sat behind a guys house for 20 years. We added fresh diesel, checked the oil and cranked it over. Started right up! Does anyone have, or know where we can get any information, manuals, etc. for this orphan? It has a factory Winget Brush Hog mower attached as well!

Cliff:

I moved your post here where it actually belongs. In Way Off Topic.. it would definitely be almost invisible... so here is where home for this thread will be :!:

Plugged the following : Winget Model 42 Diesel Tractor into Google and got a 184 hits, some useful and some probably not so useful.

This one Please tell me about this Winget tractor! (pics) is on YTMag  and might be useful.. there are 4 or 5 followups, although the pic doesn't show up.

Hope some of the hits will help you out. Keep us posted
:!:

Sounds very 8) 8) I have never heard of one before. Any chance of a picture. If you can e-mail me one I would be more than happy to post it.
