Yes even the old Sears garden tractors from the 60's and early 70's were well made machines having all cast iron Tecumseh and big Onan twins powering them- nice looking example of the, "Suburban," Pudgy! Sears unfortunately started cheaping out their GT line into flimsy machines in the late 70's a few years before the big names started doing the same.
Here is my CC682, a 1980 IH built one before MTD took over CC in 1981, these IH, '82' models are what many consider to be the last of the really heftily built Cub Cadets. Yes, I got around to stripping and repainting the belt tension release lever in the proper white this past weekend

To the man, there is no such thing as, "Too much tractor!"

Sears Suburban
Thanks everyone. "Fordlords" Thats one sharp 682. I wish mine looked that good. "Country" I have a 10 HP tecumseh on this. I have a plow and disk for this, both are sears. A man gave this to me, he said if I would restore it I could have it. Its taken some money but its better than what you can buy today. Its been fun. I enjoy working on old iron. Pudgy
