6 Volt siren

Postby Jeff Silvey » Sun Feb 19, 2006 5:43 pm

I found a 6 volt siren the other day in a barn :D . It is clean I&O. How do I tell if it's 6 Pos or 6 neg :?: It does have one wire coming from the inside through a groument. This is like the ones that they use on fire trucks today but smaller. It is a wind up.
Thanks
Jeff

It will work either way but being 6 volt, it was likely originally connected positive ground.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Abd will pull a lot of current, especially on startup. Alos, you shluld hope the siren spins and not the cub.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!
