Super Photo's W6...and it looks like very nice weather too!
I bought an old tractor all dusty and worn,
knew nothing about her just the year she was born
I washed her and greased her and painted her red
Now she lives happily right here in my shed.

8) Very nice W6NZ. Does the allis have a hand clutch :?: My great uncle had one after he had a stroke that was the only tractor he could run. Don't know how he got on and off.

W6NZ,

Very nice pictures... thanks for sending them. It looks like a good time.

In our area, the "reaper" was known as a binder. That's where any IH machinery got its' nickname... especially the trucks, and I strongly suspect the name of the best source of IH manuals... Binder's Books.

I can't imagine Reaper's Books. 8)

Cowboy, no the Allis hasn't got a hand clutch but it does have a dog clutch, worked by a hand lever, the LA Case, (behind the Model T.Ford) has a hand clutch. . It has no independant brakes just one foot brake.

Jostev, It is a finger guard put out by allis Chalmers held on by 2 bolts, one top and bottom. Both the Model B and WC tractors in the parade had it on.It has got a part no stamped on it, but don't ask me now what it was, lol. altho I could probably get the part number for you, if you want.

George (Willer,) It is a Reaper & Binder, I was just taking a typing shortcut. lol
I've just picked up a 1940 Reaper & Binder with P.T.O. in great condition..
