I could not find a diagram for a 12 volt system with a generator on the cd's. Where would they be?

The 8n is wired and everything works but the generator. I believe it is shot. I tried to repolarize it and it would not spark. I think my father-in-law wants an alternator on it anyway and to ditch the 12 volt generator for now. Once it is off I can have it reapired.
