451 nh sickle mower to L 4060 kubota
I’m trying to hook up the mower but I need an attachment that extends about 8.5 inches from tractor. I not sure of a new bracket extended added or can I fold back first arm on mower and attach a longer top link from tractor to other hookup on mower and skip the front hook up. The mower is supposed to hook to tractor with front arm into top link and then hook top link from that to another on mower.

Let me guess, the horseshoe contraption on the sickle mower hits your lift links or your rockshaft on the tractor?

Yes you are correct. New Holland has a kit for about 250. Dollars There is also a y shaped metal piece adapter on the internet for about 40-50 dollars. Or skip adapters and use a longer top link. The front horse shoe piece does effect a cable on the mower also somehow

I use a NH 450 sicke mower (same basic mower as the 451) on the back of a 2005 John Deere 4520.
I had to make extensions for where my top link attaches to the tractor so the horse shoe mount does not hit the rockshaft.
My tractor has a 3 position (3 sets of holes) mount for you to attach the top link to.
I use two of the three holes with longer top link pins to hold them to the tractor, they are 3/8" plate with a dog leg in each making a left and a right.
Mine go on the outside of the top link mount, and the dog legs in each makes the end with the single hole the same width as the mount on the tractor.

I guess the part number I had from the dealer will not work for kubota. I am going to order the y type piece and try it. If that don’t work I’ll have my welder make me one. Thanks
