JD 420-C loader
Just got this one a while back,--not quite running yet but getting there. I need a different grille for it too. Still hunting for transmission reverse idler gear shaft for the Case 310 loader. Got the forks rebuilt for the NH L-781 loader the other day. Made them hold the load now.

Talk about sitting on the edge.
If that seat was much further back, you'd need a sulky cart!!
I like the crawlers from when Deere started the 350 / 355, 450 / 455, etc etc series dozers / loaders.

Re: JD 420-C loader
I only got the hood and front guard that goes in front of the radiator and somebody took/tore it off and thats how the grille got messed up.
Looks like this one was repainted down the line but original color was yellow for this one. Not sure when new if it came with fenders or not.
The car seat gotta come off for sure, --- I think a Dixon z-turn seat will do much better on there, and yes on these older Deere crawlers you did set in the south fourty on them! lol! Just like the 1934 D that my dad had!
I was needing one and since it's gonna be a while before I can get the Case 310 fixed,--this one came along, price was right, so I got it. Had been looking for a IH 340 but dream on!!! NEVER find one of them in my price range! Then the Case came up and I figured it was an easy fix so I bought it. Well it would have been easy fix IF I could get trans. idler shaft! 310 Case is notorious for eating shafts and there are none left on the planet for them. My next idea is to cut one down that came from a IH656 wheel tractor and use that. It almost fits,---cut 1 inch off the end and turn the shaft down 1/8'th inch and it will fit.
