DSCF 2018

Postby Mr E » Wed Jan 17, 2018 9:53 pm

The crew and I met this chilly morning for our regular planning session. All systems are GO.
We look forward to seeing everyone again in a few weeks.

If you have not already sent me a list of your projects for this year, please do so soon so I can add them to the Project List. I encourage you to visit our website for any questions and take a peek at the existing list of projects.

See you soon!

Roy, if the weather up here permits me to unload one Cub and reload another, I will have a clutch job.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Bill,

You've got almost a month, surely you will get a weather break to allow the change. Your first opportunity might just be this weekend. Looks like Harrison is supposed to be warm this weekend, high temp over 40 for Fri., Sat. and Sun. High of 53 on Mon. Looks like the clutch job is a go. :) :)

Monday was my planned date to do this. I was just making a joke about our weather. I loaded one year when it was in the low twenties and ice on the trailer that had to be removed first.

Bill,

When I checked the weather for Harrison, I thought I would jerk your chain a bit. I'm looking forward to the break in the weather and DSCF.

I'm still trying to take down 25,000 christmas lights. I have been watching the extended forcast like crazy. As you said, it looks like a short break is headed here tomorrow,

Well looks like we will not be there this year. :( I'm not happy but the first grand baby will be born at that time. Its family. We did find out it will be a boy. So far everything is good. Sorry Ron we wont see you. Come to the Bash. Will be at the Bash. Everyone have fun.

Mr. E, I am thinking of bringing one of my cubs with me for a few tasks, if the project schedule would allow:
:worthy:
1. Rear seal replacement
2. PTO swap out for an already rebuilt one
3. Mott Flail Mower roller bearing replacement
4. Flail knife sharpening after new stones are put on my electric sharpener

Good after noon Mr. E. I hope to be able to rework a hydro block at your place along with the help of those in the know. I scratched one of the valve bushing trying to get it out of the block. There will be another block there for parts or we may decide to rebuild it if mine is shot. This will be my first fest. Looking forward to it.
