Each year I seem to be moving up to a "Very Senior" (old geezer) forum member. But, I am not too old to learn a new trick.
Don McCombs showed about a half dozen of us how to easily remove a square nose hood. I and others there have been doing it the hard way. Don suggested that after first removing the standard items for a round nose, ( rear screws, gas line , rad cap, etc., you move to the front and remove upper hood support bolts on each side and then the lower dogleg to bolster bolts on each side and lift off the complete hood assembly. Slick!
