Boss, my wife and I will be there on Friday and Saturday. Will bring 52 Cub. She starts and runs good but needs some adjustment to maybe timing. Jenny has magneto. Maybe valve adjustment.

Re: head count for va cub fest
I may have to miss it this year. Our IH club's plowday got rescheduled to next weekend due to rain. With all the foul weather we've had, I may even be home next weekend farming for real.
It won't be the same not being at the waller this year!!

Re: head count for va cub fest
Sorry you can't make it this year Al, really enjoyed seeing your stationary engine last year and spending some time chatting.
I'm loaded down with tires and changing tools for Boss, 2 new snow blades heading north to Big Bill in Ct., plus a few other extras parts on board. I'll pull out whatever time I wake in the middle of the night and head toward the Waller.
Looking forward to another great time with lots of projects this year to work on.
Seems like each year I add another extra day, pretty soon I'll be spending the whole week.

And you didn't stop in to say Hi...and help me load up??!!!
All set, though...Ben ('55 Cub) was started for the first time in about 6 months!! YEA!!
I was so nervous about pulling the start switch...just KNEW something would go wrong, considering everything that had been done to him! Anyway, he started right up, good oil pressure, good charging with the new alternator, overhauled CC transmission worked like a charm (with 3 FORWARD gears!), rebuilt TC good, overhauled distributor and governor good, relined brakes in my rebuilt finals good...I was SO thrilled!!!
So I head out for the waller in the morning, and am looking forward to getting help from you experts tweaking things like the idle, checking compression and timing, and a few other things before I "button him up"!! I am so looking forward to seeing everyone.
