Cub fests...share a ride?

Postby Dale Finch » Sun Jan 05, 2014 5:47 pm

Hey all! Happy 2014!! I was just reading an email from our IHC Chapter 42 regarding the Denton Southeast Old Threshers Reunion in July, and figure I would attend. I have an 18' trailer so I can haul two cubs or a cub and SA. Anyone from around the Chapel Hill area want to join me in going?

I also plan on heading to DSCF in Sneads FL, and would be happy to give someone along the way a ride. Not planning on taking the trailer to FL, but have either a Toyota (one pax) or an Acura MDX (several pax).

Let me know if anyone wants to join me for either. Time to play!!!

Hey Dale!

Been swampped lately but I got the email about Denton too. Sounds like it would be a blast. It's a little early for me to be able to make plans yet with my wife's treatment still ongoing, but it seems like something that would be lots of fun. Hope you've had a good winter so far! Bracing for some chilly weather tonight.

I plan to attend Denton, if at all possible, this year. Don't think I'll be pulling a tractor up there, but want to experience the show.

That's GREAT Mr E!!! Usually a very good show, and the new NC IHC CHAPTER 42 is trying to get a real big Red Herd there! Not sure what I will bring. In the past I have just gone as a gawker. I really like the big ole steam shovel and I enjoy the dog herding demonstrations, too. Ain't retirement great?! See you in a few weeks! :D

Hmmmm...you know, I just googled St. Louis, North Carolina, and can't seem to find it. Just hang in there, though, and when I figure out where it is, I'll let you know what time we'll stop by!!
