The snowthrower BTW is an interesting and unique creation. The front part is an old Sears one-stage unit. Power comes from a 13 hp ( I think) horizontal shaft auxiliary engine, mounted on a platform in front of the driver position. If I remember correctly, belt tension is applied by lowering the engine unit via the Cub hydraulics. I didn't catch who the designer/builder was (since I'm new to the club and don't keep track of names too well). Anyway, others will have to help out with that. I'm not sure if it has been used yet to throw any snow, but it looks like it ought to do a dandy job.

Actually Rusty it's a fast hitch Cub and he used the depth control to engage the belt. The hydraulics raises the snowblower. Very clever!

I am suffering with a new laptop, lost my photo software, otherwise I would upload some.
