Stan, that sounds like a good idea, I'd be interested in seeing how this is done in case I ever happen across something like this. I'd rather know how now than break something later.

The "training aids" are prepped. hehe I have a shaft, pulley, one fitted key and 2 blanks to play with.. (as well as the extractors) I'll only need a vice and maybe a c-clamp to demonstrate. (After working with this means of fastening for 30 years, I have many stories) Looking forward to it!

I have a tire that currently sits on a really badly rusted rim that I need help dismounting. I had talked with Yogie about heading down to West Virginia for a tire-removing micro fest, but if I could get some help at the bash, I will gladly wrap it up and toss it in the back of the Camry. After removing the tire, if someone wants a fire ring, you are welcome to that!

Can we put that on the list?

Stan, I have a vise and several sizes of "C" clamps. We should be good to go.

Mike, bring that tire along. I picked up an Esco 70160 bead breaker. It works pretty good on rear tires with little effort.
