I will bring my magneto tool kit with me if anyone wants a magneto looked over or repaired. I'll also be glad to pitch in on any other project that needs help. Other than that, I will be swapping and trading something (parts, guns, cubs, food items, or stories) with Redfin, so I can feel totally abused by the time I get back to South Carolina!

Just Kidding, Jim! Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

Thanks, Rick. Your assistance with the mags and carbs is always much appreciated, as well as the other repairs you always assist with.

Abused?? by trading with Jim? How could you possibly think such thoughts?  :{_}: :{_}:

Good thing I have my thick "winter skin" on. I have learned to leave it on past DSCF , as per Billy Ray's advice. See you boys soon with black Pot in tow. :{_}: :{_}: :{_}: :{_}:

Not really a project. But, for those attending DSCF, I will have some all-natural Maryland produced honey for sale. Just look me up at Roy's. :D

Roy, I have a new Cub that I would like to have checked over. It seems to run well, but it has a Zenith carb and I would like to put an IH carb back on. So please put me down for general inspection/advice and possible tuning; as well as some carb work including a fuel line installation.

I might can help with clutch adjustments if anyone needs one and doesn't mind inexperience.

Got it, John.

Thanks for the offer of clutch adjustments. Someone may need that service.

Bringing this back to the top.

We are getting close to DSCF!! Only 12 days to go. Just a reminder if you have a project that you haven't let us know about, now is the time to add it to the list.

Thanks.

Looking forward to seeing everyone soon.

Mr E,
Just had a call from a guy named Ray over in Crestview that heard about DSCF. He has 2 cubs he would like to sell,
a Yellow and White and a Red one. He isn't real good on the computer, in fact has no email, but would like to talk with someone and see if it is alright to bring those two tractors to DSCF to try to sell. His phone # is 850=682-4470 if you want to call him.
I don't know him and I have no connection or financial interest in the deal.
Hope your plans are coming together good and hope you have good weather.
Tim

Hey Roy,

Don't have a lot of projects from TN this year. But Steve Koons is getting antsy because he has not straightened a carb top in a long time. We need to keep him busy doing that. Roger will sit by the fire and keep it going, so you will not have to worry about that. We are bringing a newby to cubfests by the name of J.R. J.R. loves to get down and dirty, so keep him down on the floor under a cub. I, on the other hand, don't like to get my hands dirty. So, I will watch, observe, supervise and give out to anyone who will listen, my great wealth of wisdom. This should take a lot of pressure off of Billy Ray.

Can't wait to see you guys! We can always let you assist Billy Ray in the weather department. Maybe between the two of you, well............

I've got a first/reverse transmission noise that I would like to have diagnosed. I've tried to look for a chipped tooth, but I can't turn the engine over and view the gears at the same time. Perhaps just having other folks with experience listen to it can give me some advise. This will be my first Cubfest and I am really looking forward to it. (Hope the weather is decent.) Stanley Thigpen
