Yes, Bob, the week after Deep South! That's what has made it work out for Regina & I. We used to try to get to Flywheelers every couple years, but when Roy scheduled his first Cubfest on the prior week-end, it made it worthwhile to make this an annual trip. Also, a stop by Daytona to visit friends for a couple days and we have a nice 10 day Winter getaway. This year, it's just that much better!

For those who have not had the opportunity to attend a Florida Flywheeler show, you should really try to make it. Flywheeler park is a really neat place, the village there, with all the member owned buildings, is like no other that I know of.

that was in kinda rough shape. This one has an electric motor that turns everything as though the tractor was running.

In the movie "Inside Harvester" you catch a few glimpses of a cut-away Super C.

I printed and scanned the following camping info from the Florida Flywheelers website, but I don't think you can make it out.
The page for it from their web site is http://www.floridaflywheelers.org/accommadations.html.

Rosanne and I are still working on a way to attend this.

Is the CubFest portion going to be structured like a CubFest as we know it, or will it be more of a show like Cubarama?

Bill,

Anyone that I have talked with, that has attended the Florida Flywheelers has said that it is well worth the time and effort to attend, no matter what you're interested in. That being said, I'm still working on attending, just don't know what year. :) :)

But it will make a difference in what I haul down there. If it is more of a show I leave my trailer in the north. If it is like a CubFest as we know it, I would probably bring my trailer along.

I still have to wait to see what my daughter's schedule is to know if we can make it.

I wish I could give you an answer that would help. It is designed to be more of a Cub Fest in that we have arranged a
building in the "Village" (Thanks to Ron & Chuck Gause who volunteered to let us use their "dealership" building)to do repairs. I have a magneto man who said he would be glad to do a presentation on tractor mags," Did I want the 1hour or 4 hour version?" I have a good carb man who will give a presentation on carbs, from Kohler Carters thru Marvell Shcebler for Ms. I have 3-4 good mechanically inclined Chapter 27 members who will help. What I don't have is how many will participate, what projects will be scheduled and a list of tools I need to have assembed to do the projects.
The camping and meals will be different, in that we are on the grounds of the Florida Flywheelers and must abide by their rules.
It unfortunately follows on the heels of Mr. E's DSCF and many people can't make two weeks back to back.I will be asking for
anyone who is planning on coming to let me know what projects they would like to do and what info I can give them to help facilitate.it.
It WILL be a Show in that that is what the Florida Flywheelers is and IH will be the featured brand.
I'm flying by the seat of my pants . but look forwad to making it an enjoyable event.
Welcome to all who can come.

Report on up coming "projects " at Chapter 27 Cub Fest. We have a steering wheel removal and re-bushing; a refurbished " "white" Cub with a starter problem, a non-runningCub that was purchased some time ago that the owner hasn't attemped any repairs on. It will not turn over a complete revoltion. 3/4revolution CC and 3/4 revolution CCW.
We are also going to have some BS sessions on check points on new purchases and "fresh barn finds" .
Oh got a Cub Cadet project, but can't remember what it is.
78* at Florida Flywheelers Park today.
Up dates as they occur.
