Was glad to see all that showed up for the first Mid Missouri Showme CubFest. Had around 18 for lunch and know 3 that left before that. Thanks to all.

Congrats on getting your first one in the books. It will definitely grow from there. Maybe, next year Rosie and I can head west. Thanks for the pix.

Ron and Anna--

Can't say thank you enough for hosting the 1st (and hopefully Annual) Mid-Missouri ShowMe CubFest. Wish I had got the info on all the states represented (Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, and ?). Great weather, great food and a great mix of working on Cubs AND talking about Cubs. In my opinion, a huge success.

Some more pictures:

Day started off beautiful (upper 60's with highs in the upper 80's):

One thing I liked was that there was time throughout the day to just sit and talk. Lyle found some shade and a breeze under a Redbud tree:

Ron had made up several signs and posted them at major intersections throughout town. Each sign only had one arrow until we arrived at his place and he had this one:

Let me thank all who helped in sharing their knowledge/skill on the projects. A special thanks to Mike Mueller and Lyle for correcting the timing issue on my '48 and getting it to start for the first time since I've had it. What a beautiful sound to hear the engine come to life. :{_}:

I enjoyed meeting some new Cubbers and visiting with people I'd met before. What a great day!! THANKS!! :D
