Georgia Cub Club

Probably the wrong place to post this, but I was wondering if there was a Georgia Cub Club or any interest in one to connect with Cub owners nearby. I know a few older Cub guys that have trouble finding parts and Info because they aren't computer types and don't care to be. It would be nice to get us all linked up so we can help each other find the things we need and help keep some stuff from heading to the scrap yard as well.

There is a Cubfest every October up in Gillsville Ga, where you'll find alot of us here hanging out and working on Cubs. If you can make it, I highly recommend it! :D

There used to be an IH club in Georgia but I think it's gone. Most of the non computer users have never heard of a cub fest either. Those folks that I run into that don't use computers are a valuable resource and often I am to them as well (if I see a cub, I'm gonna stop and talk... Be warned)

There are a good number of Jawja Cub owners on the forum and are some of the nicest people I have dealt with. Organize a Cub Club and send out a a one or two page newsletter in the mail every few months so the guys with no computers can be kept in the loop.

I had thought about that... I'm game for it if there is any real interest. I'd like to keep a running list of parts implements needed/wanted as well as those people har for sale or trade. In my experience, plenty of people have what you need and would sell it for a fair price, they just aren't gonna go to the trouble of looking for someone to buy their stuff... Their fine with it siting there. Anyone ever organized a club officially? We have a Cotton Gin Festival/Tractor parade just down the road in November that has way too much Green for my liking. Usually close to two hundred old tractors. We need more Red! Anyone with any interest in a GA Cub Club, advice, or ideas, message me.

Sounds like a good idea. You should plan on making the stonethrow cubfest and rally the troups.

I am a member of the Georgia chapter of the IHC. They are a pretty strong club, but I've never been to any of the meetings.
