Kansas Cubfest - May 5
Kansas Cubfest is coming up soon! Come and enjoy the day. Bring a project if you have one.
We will be starting around 8:00 a.m. and go until everyone leaves. If you can only come for an hour or so, we will still be glad to see you.
Please reply to this post if you think you will be coming, so we will have enough food for everyone.
The Cubfest will be at the home of muleboss, 1440 US Highway 75, Burlington, KS, which is about 2 miles North of Burlington or 1.5 miles South of New Strawn. It will be back a lane on the West side of the highway. There will be a Kansas Cubfest sign posted.
Hope to see you there!

Re: Kansas Cubfest - May 5
I'm planning to be there. If I can get my '49 on the trailer, I'll bring it. We can do a thread inlet job on the carb and look at the wiring/alternator setup.
Want us to bring anything--food or otherwise?
Thanks!

Ed and I are planning to be there, do you need any special tools like the gas tank reform, final drive lug bolt jig, front engine pulley puller, oil seal installer for the governor. If so let me know I am bringing a couple brake bands for Stan to help rivet the new linings.

Jim--please bring your gas tank reform tool. I would like to borrow it to re-do my '49 and take some final measurements off it to finish up my drawings. Will be happy to assist you in relining your brakes.

Jim,
Glad you and Ed are planning to come.
If it isn't too much trouble, bring it all. Even if we don't use them, they would be a good show-and-tell.
Thanks,
Ike

I'm glad this is working out for Stanton. It seems I forgot to do something for him at DSCF.

There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.
