I'll have a sickle servicer along so bring your cutter bar, new blades and rivets.
I've not shopped around but our local TSC has new blades for around $20, they sell the rivets also.

I need help with the mag on my 52R combine (cub power unit) engine. At the least it needs points and condenser--Put a new coil in a couple years ago. I seem to always get the point gap off.....I am sure someone has a "trick" I could learn to make the job easier.

The power unit will ride nicely in the back of my truck, if there was interest I could bring the whole engine....it's just about as easy to take the engine off as it is trying to get wedged up between the combine frame and the engine to get to the mag!

I won't be able to get off from school but I will be there early Saturday morning.

If you think there would be time, and if I haven't done it before the Fest, I would like to do a rear split to replace the front transmission bearing/seal, etc. The person buying the '55 from me MAY be coming to check out the whole Cub thing, too!!

Looks like I may bring the '55 I sold for a rear seal change, if possible. The "person", AKA Larry, who bought the cub, asked me to do some work on it. I am replacing the radiator which I just removed today, as well as rebuilding the steering gear housing. Both developed leaks after running for a while the day I delivered it! Guess all that gunk I cleaned out of both was what was plugging the leaks!!! Just received the new Clancey radiator in the mail. May see what a recore would cost and keep one as a spare...(I now have two "spares" if anyone wants to buy one)
