DSCF Live!

Postby Barnyard » Sat Jan 07, 2012 10:55 pm

I talked to Roy for a bit this afternoon and it looks like we will try, emphasis on "try", to have a live video stream from DSCF for those of you who want to watch, but can't be there. Many of you will remember that Bugler did this for several events a few years back. I tried it one time and blew my system before we could get started. Lessons learned. Anyway, I am going to try it again.

I will be doing a test Sunday (tomorrow night Jan 8, 2012) around 8:00 pm Ohio time. If you want to join in to see how it works feel free to do so. In fact, the only way we will know if it works is if somebody is on the other end, so it might as well be you.

To be able to watch you will have to go to http://www.justin.tv and sign up for an account. Once you have an account you can go to http://www.justin.tv/barnyard and select "Follow" located under the video screen. Then around 8:00 pm sign in and go back to http://www.justin.tv/barnyard. You may be asked for an access code. If so enter Farmall, that should put you in.

I don't know how this will work out. We will have too see how the connection is at that time. It could be slow and not come out the way we want buy that is what the test is about. If you have problems logging in shoot me a PM. See you then!

I'll be watching to see what happens this evening Bill and will send a PM or post here after that.

I had one person say the could not get in with the access code and another said they could. The new layout is new to me so I am in the learning stage myself. I tried it with the access coade and I also tried it with the access code line left blank and it worked both ways. I will be monitoring the forum while we test this so if you have any problems getting on the site shoot me a PM and let me know.

I'm headed that a way right now,

Did you try it with out the code. Just leave the line blank and hit submit.

Did that too, still no joy... Even downloaded the "app" for my iPad (waste of money, don't do it if anyone's thinking of it), and still couldn't get to your channel.

Hey guys, if you use Farmall as the access code, The F has to be upper case. We have a good crowd on right now.
