Merk,
This is a very concise statement of what participants should know and should do on arrival. If it isn't on the main RPR web site it should be. I wish something like this had been posted before some of the previous RPRs!

Thanks Jim,

Since 2010 round up I go to see how things are done instead of the looking at displays.
Several members of the RPRU 2013 committee are doing the same thing.
We have learned plenty of do's and don'ts in the last 3 years.
The biggest bottleneck is when everyone arrives. Hopefully we have something in place that works better.

I'm twitching, and I'll bet Bob (Spaceghost) is bouncing off the walls, by now. Ed

Don, will it help Bob's bouncing off the walls? Maybe the seat belt will restrain him, a bit! Ed

A couple more days and we will all be seeing red. See you guys there.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

This question is for you Ohio guys. Which side is better (construction/traffic-wise) right now for going around Columbus... north side or south side?

Don,

The last two times I have gone through the construction zone with no problem at all. It was not during rush hour and I may have just been lucky.

As for your question, I'm assuming you are coming in on I-70 and going out on St. Rt. 33 (used to travel that regularly between Columbus and Lima) in which case I-271 will be your best bet.

Don, if you're coming I-70, go around the North on I-270. On the N W corner of Columbus, go N W on U.S. 33, a little past Bellefontaine, get off 33 and take OH 117. Stop at the 1st fairground you see! There's no construction at all and traffic ain't bad. 270 may be a bit heavy, but usually moves well.

Bob,

Are you traveling I-90? If so, we might travel together. I've been there and I know the way. :)

Darn, I wish this was closer and I did not have so many other obligations! I know you will all have fun. Please think a second or two, about us unfortunate ones that cannot attend. ;)
