Hey ya'll, I have a modest proposal for our own contest this year: how 'bout we have an Overall Contest??? Only rule is no bare beer bellies (or other bare parts for that matter :o) ...yikes Barnyard, that'd cause nightmares!

Just an idea...whaddya think??

corky

Well, heck, why don't we just do it !! Gotta add some element of "theme", right.!?

Looks like we'll have several new members at Stonethrow this year so all us regulars need to jump right in and
Get-er-Done! (as I know we all will) looks like plenty of projects but always room for more so don't be bashful :D Look foward to seeing everyone next weekend :{_}:

Ron, I will be bringing my 53 that I am going to put the loader on. It needs a new steering box, and I have a good one for it. I will also need to get it running, but nothing I can not accomplish. I aquired the cub, the coil on it was burst, and i have never gotten to the fix it part yet.

I am also bringing the 100 spreader. It needs a bunch of work, but I want to use it in the parade.

Punkin will be staying home with Uncle Walt and Aunt Rose, but Jan will be with me. :big afro: We plan to be in Tucker on Wed evening, and your place on Thursday, soon as we can get there.

If anyone is interested in the 100 spreader, let me know. I won't get to it this winter, and it should have a good home. I can keep it in the dry here forever, so I do not NEED to be rid of it--yet. `Will also bring full set of cults, off-set disc hillers(listers) 2 extra woods pulley's, a 90 degree angle drive with belt pulley, a fast hitch Mule drive. I have lots of small stuff I can bring, but the cults are the only heavy things, unless someone is looking for something.

Kodiak,

I think we got part of dinner covered for Friday night...our fire department had it's annual barbecue sale today and the guys smoked me an extra ham for StoneThrow!! I'll cook up a batch of Corky's BubbaQ sauce to go with it, and we'll be ready!

Dale,
Come on up anytime Thursday, I'll be at the shop early :D

Corky,
Now that sounds very good :{_}: We'll add some stuff to it and we'll have a fine dinner Friday evening. Things are taking shape nicely. Very busy afternoon (see other post in main forum, "Getting Ready for Stonethrow")

Oh yeah, almost forgot.

Jan is making a deep dish apple pie or two, and I am bringing a couple rhubarb pies. I have been perfecting the recipe, so I hope they all make it there.

Well its only days away and there are folks already on the road to Stonethrow and will be more in the morning. Everyone please drive safely and have an enjoyable trip.
I got some info about the Maysville Parade yesterday from one of the folks down there. She told me there was a theme this year (I was told earlier that there wasn't) it is "The Wizard of Oz" and the slogan is "There's no place like Maysville" so if anyone wants to dress up like Scarecrow or Tin Man or The Lion that'd be fine. Hey Barnyard maybe you could dress up like Toto  I believe I'll stick to my overalls.
We got lots of projects and stuff to keep us busy so let's get rolling :{_}:
