You would be absolutely correct. He might even be better off to take hwy 11 out of Gray, Ga. all the way to Winder then spur 82 to Maysville and up 52 to Gillsville :D

Yes, then he would come through Monroe and be 1/4 mile from my house... :{_}:
I think BR has been that way..

Went that way once. Not the straightest road in the state, but the view is awesome. Didn't know I passed right by Ms. Ellen, tho!! :{_}:

I would like for you people to leave my personal Georgia Guide (AKA Corky) alone. He can certainly get out of Athens.

:!: SOMETIMES :!:

David,
I know what you mean. Look at Mapquest or Google maps and consider taking 129 upto Macon then getting on Hwy 11 (not much traffic and a nice drive) to Winder, just on the other side of Winder pickup spur 82 to Maysville and your almost there :D

Possibily a bit of sad news after 18 years there is the possibility that the Turning & Burning won't be held this year :( I will check with Chester next week to confirm if this is true or not. But there is still supposed to be the downtown pottery festival, which has plenty of local potters involved. More to come......

Ron

Ron,

I need to stop an oil leak from the back side of Andrew's engine. I will have one of everything I can think of, can we get this one done on Friday so he can parade on Saturday?

We put a new seal in (the RP modified version) when it was restored, maybe 100 hours ago? Seems like a short life, but stranger things have happened. Just in case, I am bringing an oil pump housing gasket as well....

Wow, Rick. That does seem like a short time.

How bad is the leak?

Rick, do you have the rear seal and retainer to put in if needed? If not I can bring a rebuilt one along until you can get a another.

Barnyard,

I do have the seal and retainer, but thanks for having my back.

Mr. E, as it warms up, it drips fairly steady.....

I am most interested to see what has gone wrong, since this engine was totally rebuilt, machine shop, etc. I predict we can do it on Friday if there is space in the shop....

Mr Rick/ Andrew,
I'm sorry that you've got that pesky rear seal leak... I've also got a fairly bad rear seal leak too.
I hope to be able to watch the experts on this one & take some mental notes since it's on my 'list' of things to do.
See y'all then,
bill
