Spot on as usual BD! I feel much more confident to come home and use the knowledge I gain @ cubfest on my other cubs because of the expertise of those more experienced than I. It also provides the benefit of the use of special tools that members generously share that many of us do not have access to or don't know how to use correctly! One added benefit that surprised me was the pleasure that my wife has in sharing with the other wives that attend - tractor events are not normally her cup of tea but she has thoroughly enjoyed everyone we have attended. thanks again BD for the reminder of the true purpose of these events. Hope to get up enough courage to host one myself!?! Dusty B

I'm going to try to make it to Boss Hog's in 2011, depending on whether or not my employer has me working that weekend. I don't know if I'll be able to bring the cub because I don't have a trailer, at least not yet. Who knows. Maybe by then I can come up with one of those as well.

Big Dog as you started this and so many have replied so positively,
I guess that I am talking to you all when I say thank for the inspiration.
I feel very fortunate to have found this group a few years ago
and though I have not contributed very much, I have been around and watched and listened.
I have not found a better group anywhere.
As for Cub Fests I must say that I am very jealous of those of you that are able to attend a
Cub Fest and visit, contribute and learn.
I wish that I was closer to where they are being held because I would really like to get involved
and be able to put some faces to names, etc. but alas I am not maybe one day there will be one closer.
I think most all of you have hit the nail on the head with what a Cub Fest is.
One thing that I was taught as I was growing up was. That what one can expect to get out of anything
is directly related to what they put into it.
Thanks to all of you who put so much into this Farmall Cub.com family.
Hope that you all enjoy the Cub Fest season.

Any of you who ever make it out my way maybe we can have a Mini Fest at least.
Dave

Hi,

I am originally from Florida, residing in the Pittsburgh area now, and new into the Cub / Tractor owning business. I eventually see myself having a decent collection and want to learn more. possibly buy some more. Who is a good contact to learn more about the next cubfest in Florida? Please e-mail me as I work lots of hours and cant be constantly checking forum for any updates.

I may consider a drive down to visit fam, and learn more about my new hooby. Looking to buy some as well. Any help would do. Thanks so much guys!

Hi Joe.... I have always thought that a Pittsburgh area Cubfest would be a great time... If I ever move back home to the North Hills, I would gladly attend or even host a fest, too... There are several fests coming up that are about 3-5 hours away (depending on where you are coming from) that would be good and close to you...

My family is from Allison Park in the north hills. Sounds like you aren't "too" far away in Breckenridge area. I get back to that area several times a year for work...we should have a "mini-fest" sometime...
