We are announcing the dates for the Louisiana Cub Fest for 2024! Please mark your calendars for March 14, 15, 16, 2024!! There are already several work items in line, so be sure to get your Cub project figured out and make your reservation soon!
Traveler's Rest Motel is only about 3 miles from our house . Give them a call soon at 985-735-7772. Th papermill will have their "shut-down" starting the day after our show ends.

I will be attending the LA Cub Fest in March and interested in repairing some Carburetors for two 1949 Cubs. I believe Mr. McCarty is in charge of this area. I have the old IH original carburetors - actually 4. Do I need to bring rebuild kits or how does the process work?? Tks. David

David, don't buy kits, I'll have parts and gaskets. If you can, soak or use carb cleaner to clean them so they are easier to work on. Also if you can spray the throttle and choke shaft machine bolts with a penetrating oil, that will facilitate their removal if needed.

There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.
