Thanks for a great Barnyard Bash

Postby Barnyard » Wed Jun 07, 2023 8:37 am

Rosanne and I would like to thank everyone who helped make the Bash what it is, an opportunity for Cub enthusiasts to help each other and exchange information about Cubs.

Everyone who attended helped attain our goal in some way. Those who brought something to work on provided an opportunity for others to learn. Those who helped others allowed members to get their repair done. The ladies, and Steve Butram on the grill, were instrumental in helping Rosie provide great meals every day. Also. thanks to Doug Miller, 1541 on the forum, for providing the chicken for Saturday’s meal. None of this went unnoticed.

I can’t forget to thank everyone who helped move equipment, sweep the shop, set up the canopy and tables and chairs. It all adds up. Special thanks to Frank for being the plumber when needed and Steve and Gary for checking out my BN and Doug Miller and Bigdog for their help with a couple of my Cubs that needed attention I could not provide.

All in all, it was a great weekend with new members meeting the regulars and making new friendships while getting needed repairs. We look forward to seeing many of you again, either at our October gathering or at the 2024 Bash.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.
