Bash Projects
I would like to know what you are bringing to work on at the Bash so we can be sure to have any special tools that I may not have.

I'm bringing my 75 long stripe that needs the hydraulic block rebuilt, and if we have a chance to look at my 1950 cub and figure out why it won't start, that could stand to be looked over by someone who knows what they're doing better than me.

Re: Bash Projects
I'm bringing a '51 cub to rebuild the loose, leaking steering.
And the left brake needs to be looked at. I already had it apart and (I thought!) repaired, but I failed to test it properly before I reattached it. Maybe it just needs some sort of adjustment?
The exhaust manifold needs to have the threads chased (1" pipe tap, I believe) so I can tighten down the new exhaust pipe.
Also 2 final housings...I need to swap innards from one to the other due to broken out implement holes.
Plus a couple small tasks while I have experienced help, like carb studs, Woods 59 blade sharpening...

Re: Bash Projects
Do you know if Gary will be bringing his growler? I wouldn't mind checking my generator after I put new brushes in it.

Re: Bash Projects
Yes his wife will be with him. Okay, I’m just kidding. He probably will probably have it with him. I’m sure he will see this post tomorrow.

Re: Bash Projects
I am planning on bringing my nice looking original cub and maybe trying a hot rodders trick to brighten up what is left of the original paint. I have read that 1 part CLR and 4 parts water with a scotch bright can take off the rust stains and reveal what is left of the paint. Then rub everything down with boiled linseed oil.

I'm bringing a 154 loboy to replace the clutch/driveshaft. If time allows maybe install a new wiring harness.

I was debating the growler question, in my mind, so you just answered it, Richard. I’ll bring it along and you’re welcome to play with it.

Re: Bash Projects
It looks like we may need to take a closer look at my 75 long stripe, I was out mowing today and it started to behave Strangely. I posted a video of what it was doing, it would do this off and on for about 15 seconds then run fine for a minute or two
