Bigdog’s Buckeye Cub Tug and CubFest Reunion is still on!
July 31 – August 1, 2020
This years Cub Tug will be dedicated to Roy Edenfield.
We feel that with a few changes we can comply with current standards and guidelines established by the CDC and the State of Ohio to host a fun safe event.
One of the challenges will be the meals that you have come to expect. Yes, Chef John will still be providing the Cub Tug meals. However, we will be serving it cafeteria style instead buffet style. We are also planning to only serve breakfast and supper. Everyone will be on their own for lunch on Friday. The Boy Scouts plan to have lunch items available Saturday track side.
We will have hand sanitizers located in various places and our tables will be spread out more. Currently our county is not under a required public facemask order. However, we have ordered facemask to have on hand if people chose to wear them. We would love to see everyone. But, if you are sick or running a fever we would ask that you stay home to take care of yourself and for the safety of others.
Now the fun stuff. We plan to have our usual activities. The shop will be open. The Friday night Barn Party will feature Karaoke by Tootle’s Karaoke and Saturday evening, Sara Simmons will be entertaining us.
The sled is once again being donated and run by the South Eastern Ohio Garden Tractor Pullers Association for the 1 pm Saturday afternoon Cub Tug. Trackside lunch will be provided by Somerset Boy Scout Troop 57.
Be sure to stay around after the pull for supper, the passing of the Golden Shaft and the Saturday night Barn Party with Nashville Sing/Songwriter and recording artist Sara Simmons.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
Thank you, let's have a good time.
Doug

Lots of construction on Route 22 between Zanesville and Somerset. Be prepared.
